With measles cases being reported internationally and spring break on the horizon, the Provincial Health Officer, BC Centre for Disease Control and Medical Health Officers across the province are reminding people in British Columbia to check their and their children’s vaccination records for the measles vaccine, especially before any international travel. Fraser Health public health units are available to offer vaccination at no cost and will offer extra clinics before and during spring break for childhood, school-aged and adult immunizations.
