GRAD PACKAGE PICK UP

Date: Thursday June 5, 2025
Time: 9:45 - 11:10 a.m.
Location: GW Graham Secondary – outdoor courtyard and multi-purpose room

June 5th, during 2nd block, all grads will be called down to the courtyard to enjoy a pancake breakfast put on by Mrs. Bergeron's foods class. 

After breakfast Grads will be able to pick up their grad packages. The package contains their commencement and event tickets, grad gown, cap and tassel.

GRADE 12 AWARDS EVENING

Date: Monday June 2, 2025
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: GW Graham Secondary Theatre

COMMENCEMENT REHEARSAL

Date: Friday June 13, 2025
Time: 8:30 to 11:00 a.m.
Location: GW Graham Secondary – busses leave at 8:45 a.m. 

Students must ride to the rehearsal with the school - they can’t drive themselves.


COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY

Date: Friday June 13, 2025
Time: 6:00 p.m. (Doors Open at 5:00 p.m.)
Location: Chilliwack Coliseum (45323 Hodgins Ave)
Cost: $100.00

NOTE: the Commencement ceremony will be LIVE streamed. Once the link is ready, we will email it to families, post on the website Announcements page, and social media, so you can share it with family and friends that are unable to attend. 

*The graduation fee covers the cost of the grad gown, cap, tassel, stole, memento, one 5x7 grad photo and diploma, the facility rental, and decorations. Graduates will receive FOUR (4) tickets for the commencement ceremony. Additional tickets can be purchased through Student QuickPay using the link at the top of the page. 

This is a formal ceremony, so Grads are asked to dress accordingly. Please come to the ceremony already dressed in your grad gown with appropriate formal dress underneath. Gowns must be work throughout the entire ceremony.

Please note: all guest attending the ceremony must have a ticket to enter the Chilliwack Coliseum


GRAD BANQUET AND DANCE (PROM)

Date: Wednesday June 25, 2025
Time: 3:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Location: The Copper Room at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort (100 Esplanade Ave)
Cost: $125.00

*the cost includes transportation to and from the venue (from GW Graham Secondary), dinner, and dancing.

School Administration has a responsibility to ensure that all guests in attendance conduct themselves appropriately, be respectful to all other graduates and guests, and comply with requests/follow direction from school staff.

Please Note:
All guests must be a secondary student (grades 10-12) from the Chilliwack School District. All guests will be required to have a character reference from an SD 33 school principal or vice-principal. For all grad functions outside of the City of Chilliwack, transportation will be provided by the School District, and it is expected that the guest will use the provided transportation.

 

The Banquet and Dance is a formal event where students get to dress up and spend a very memorable evening together. Grads will share in a gourmet buffet dinner. There will be speeches (short ones), and then Grads dance the night away.


DRY GRAD - SOLD OUT

Date: Wednesday June 25, 2025
Time: 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Location: The Landing Sports Centre (45530 Spadina Avenue)
Cost: $70.00

Tickets can be purchased online or at the GWG office as of April 7th. 

Things to Know About Dry Grad

  • No entry allowed after 1:30 a.m.
  • Dress comfortably.
  • Must bring your ticket(s) to get into the event.
  • Guests from outside of the Chilliwack School District are allowed to attend.
  • Parents are NOT allowed to come as a guest.
  • No in-and-out privileges. Once you are in the door, you are in for the night unless you are going home.
  • No large bags or backpacks – all bags and purses will be searched.
