The scholarships below are available for students continuing their education in a trade. Trade students are also eligible for other scholarships.

  • Chilliwack Bowls of Hope - Trades Award - $1,000.00 
    As part of our "Pay It Forward" commitment, Chilliwack Bowls of Hope is offering a $1,000.00 scholarship award to a deserving student that intends to pursue full time post-secondary education in Trades or Technical Study. This student will be entering a full-time program and has been helping within the community. Open to all community leaders. Preference may be given to a student who has been involved in our program (that has met the criteria) and has given back to the community.

  • Chilliwack Dogwood Monarch Lions Club Bursary - $2,000.00
    Preference given to student going into a trades program or a student with a disability or challenge. Grades should be sufficient for acceptance into a post- secondary program. Community involvement and financial need will also be considered. Amount subject to change.

  • Chilliwack Elk's Lodge #48 Bursary - $1,000.00
    Awarded to a deserving graduate who will be attending an accredited post-secondaryinstitution, trades or technical school. The recipient will show academic integrity, determination and a strong work ethic. The student will not necessarily be judged on highest academic standing but must demonstrate commitment & motivation to succeed. Good citizenship and involvement in school & community.

  • Chilliwack-Fraser Rotary Club "Leadership Through Service" Trades Award - $2,500.00 
    Awarded to a deserving graduating student and resident of Chilliwack who is proceeding to full-time studies at a post-secondary institution in the trades (ie. carpenter, masonry, welding, machining, etc.) Not limited to colleges & univ. Applicants must have demonstrated leadership potential, service above self and dedication to leadership and helping others. Applicants should have participated in providing service to both the school & the community, Applicants should have attempted to diversify their skills through athletics, music &/or arts. Applicants must be committed to their education as displayed through outstanding grades. Financial need will be considered.

  • Clearview Demolition LTD "Wrecking Crew" - $1,000.00
    Awarded to a graduating student in SD#33 who is proceeding into a Trades Program. Open to students of all academic achievement. Consideration for those with a financial need.

  • District Authority Award - Trades - $1,000.00
    These recognize graduating B.C. students for excellence in their chosen area of interest or strength, including Technical and Trades Training.

  • G.W. Graham Trades Scholarship - $1,500.00
    Award will be granted to a deserving student based on the following criteria: Award is open to a GWG Student in good standing who must be attending post-secondary trade school/program or entering an apprenticeship (verified).

  • Masonite Yarrow "Walk Through Walls" Scholarship - $500.00
    Awarded to a student who maintains a B average or higher. Must have good attendance & strong work ethics. Has demonstrated strong leadership attributes. Preferences given to students who have WEX or are a child of a Masonite. Preferences also given to a student going into trades and manufacturing.

  • Mt Cheam Lions Club Trades Bursary - $500.00 
    Awarded to a deserving graduate who will be attending an accredited post-secondary institution in the trades, technical school program. The recipient will show academic integrity and good citizenship, involvement in school activities, and a spirit of community volunteering. Financial need is also a consideration.

  • Rotary Club of Chilliwack Trades Program Scholarship - $1,000.00
    Awarded to a deserving graduating student proceeding to full-time studies at a post-secondary institution in a trades program. Applicants must have demonstrated academic excellence and service to community and school. Financial need may be considered.

  • Soprema Inc. Chilliwack Bursary - $750.00
    Awarded to a student who plans to continue their post-secondary education in Drafting/CAD, Architecture, Millwright, Trades, Automation/Robotics or Electrical. Applicants for Medicine, Education and Social Studies are ineligible. The recipient has one year to claim the award.

  • Steller Jay Lions Club Bursary - $500.00
    Awarded to a deserving student based on the following: graduation with satisfactory academic standing. Plans to continue studies in a Technical/Trades accredited career program.

  • Tycrop Trailers – Trades & Engineering - $1,000.00
    Open to all graduating students that are creating their future through trades certifications and engineering programs. Successful applicant will be evaluated on a combination of GPA, attitude, effort, community involvement & financial need.

  • WF Smith Award - $3,000.00
    The recipient of this award excels in either the fine arts or trades related subjects. The student exhibits good citizenship at school and has plans to attend post-secondary.
